Getting StartedWhat to bring and wear to your first driving lesson

Bring the correct licence when requested, wear comfortable clothing and choose footwear that gives you good pedal feel and control

1

Licence

I’ll check your licence when needed, but I do not normally copy it or record the licence number.

2

Footwear

Avoid shoes that make it hard to feel the pedals or move safely between them.

3

Glasses or contacts

If you need vision correction to meet the driving eyesight standard, wear it for the lesson.
